First Command Financial Advisors coach military families in their pursuit of financial security. We inspire and motivate clients to take the first or next step on a path to financial security.

Responsibilities

- Personal coach to military families, focusing on financial plans that evolve to pursue short-term and long-term financial goals. - Provide guidance on managing day-to-day finances, building lifetime assets, and protecting against the unexpected. - Engage with the community to attract new clients, supported by local district teams and Home Office. - Coach military families on building a comprehensive financial plan that includes: - Savings/banking - Investments/wealth management - Insurance/risk management

Training and licensing support

- Comprehensive training and licensing program sponsored by First Command to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses start and grow a successful Financial Advisor career. - Structured training and test preparation to assist in obtaining necessary securities and Life & Health licenses. - Paid training role offering progressive incentives during a nine-month paid training period. - Compensation structure includes an hourly wage for the first three months, transitioning to a salaried position with progressive incentives.

Becoming an Advisor

- Successful completion of the paid trainee program opens the door to becoming an independent contractor Financial Advisor with First Command. - Compensation: No cap on earning potential; compensation reflects effort and is based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation. - Professional development: Includes classroom training and annual workshops to prepare for future leadership opportunities. - Independence: Flexible schedule to manage work-life balance. - Flexibility: Mobile career opportunities throughout the United States.

Desired Qualifications

- Military experience or affiliation - Bachelor’s degree - Proven leadership skills
