Financial Advisor
About the Role
Edward Jones is a Fortune 500 financial services firm with over 9 million clients and 20,000 financial advisors across the U.S. and Canada. As a privately-owned partnership, the firm focuses on clients rather than shareholder returns. Financial advisors partner with clients to help them achieve long-term financial goals — retirement, building wealth, estate strategies, funding education, and more. You’ll develop and grow your own practice supported by a branch team, home-office team, and regional financial advisors, with the backing of 100 years of history and the largest office network of any investment firm in the U.S. and Canada.
Edward Jones provides paid training to get registered and licensed, a salary for the first five years while you build your practice, a firm-provided branch office in the community, branch office support, and a support network extending from your branch to your region to the home office. There is no ceiling to earning potential — compensation is tied to effort and includes commissions, profit sharing, and incentive travel. The role offers flexibility to balance personal and professional life, a culture of continuous improvement, and professional development.

- Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high-quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
- Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
