Financial Advisor
What You'll Do
- Aid members and prospects with information, products offered, and procedures to implement an investment program.
- Maintain member files and records to comply with FINRA, OSJ, and Agency regulators.
- Interface with mutual fund companies, insurance companies, clearinghouses, and broker/dealers for member needs or services.
- Cook up and execute approved promotional campaigns for Addison Avenue as needed.
- Coordinate and conduct promotional campaigns specific to the unique or unusual needs of the Experience Centre.
- Stay updated on the success of investment products and new products available through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.
- Prepare all new business for submission to Raymond James for processing, adhering to standard OSJ procedures.
Essential Skills
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma, with CFP designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the sale and delivery of personal investment products and services, with the proven ability to act as a trusted advisor and advocate.
- Experience working in a bank or credit union environment preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion and judgment when working with clients, professionally handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to create and deliver dynamic and engaging presentations with the ability to tailor messages to the audience.
- In-depth understanding of the financial industry, financial concepts, and the mathematics behind them, high-level product knowledge, competitive intel, and client-service strategies.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Organize, analyze, and interpret data to reach sound decisions and guide investors based on individual risk tolerances.
- Absorb individual client needs and foster strong relationships.
- Proficiency with basic to complex mathematical calculations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software.
- Exposure to a CRM such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
- Certification/License: Series 7, 63, 65/66 FINRA licenses, Life & Disability Insurance license required; CFP preferred.

Target Compensation in Oregon: $72,000 to $110,000 (This range reflects reasonable earnings potential which includes a base salary of $36,000 and monthly incentive pay based on current production)

The Financial Advisor at Addison Avenue Investment Services, a division of First Tech, partners with members to deliver personalized, goals-based financial advice across investment, retirement, and insurance solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to inherit and grow an established book of business as part of a planned advisor transition, providing immediate client relationships alongside significant opportunity for new asset growth. Advisors in this role may operate standalone or as part of collaborative teams, leveraging the scale of First Tech’s member base and referral ecosystem. The position is supported by a robust platform through Raymond James Financial Services, providing access to industry-leading investment solutions, planning tools, and operational infrastructure.
