About the role
A growing Orlando-based financial advisory firm is hiring a Financial Advisor to step into a pure closing role with zero cold outreach. This position is built for advisors who want to do what they do best: meet with qualified prospects, deliver recommendations, and close new client relationships. The firm handles marketing, lead generation, scheduling, planning support, and paperwork. You’ll walk into a booked calendar, supported by a dedicated planning team and client service staff, and focus exclusively on onboarding new clients and growing assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 5-6 new client meetings per week with pre-qualified prospects
- Review and present financial plans prepared by the internal planning team
- Guide clients through a structured onboarding process across 2-3 meetings
- Close new client relationships with an expected ~30% conversion rate
- Build trust and rapport with pre-retiree and retiree clients
- Partner with internal processors and CSAs who handle all paperwork and transfers
- Transition ongoing client reviews to Service Advisors once asset thresholds are met
- Maintain compliance and documentation standards using internal systems
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor with closing responsibility
- Active Series 65 license
- Proven ability to close new business and follow a defined sales process
- Coachable mindset with openness to feedback and training
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Comfortable working fully onsite and meeting clients face-to-face
- Degree preferred but not required, performance matters more than credentials
