About the role

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team at EY is growing rapidly. As a Senior, you'll play a pivotal role in this growth, contributing to the development of creative, strategic solutions for clients. You'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to address complex financial and accounting challenges.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and influence strategic goals with clients and internal partners
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines to deliver integrated solutions
• Develop and manage relationships with key clients to enhance service offerings
• Identify and implement improvements to EY's products and processes
• Manage and mentor a team of high-performing colleagues
• Travel regularly to meet with clients and participate in engagements

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm
• Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state
• Strong technical writing and risk management skills
• A deep understanding of the marketplace and relevant industry practices
• Ability to research and resolve emerging client issues
• Confidence and willingness to travel and work extended hours

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is desirable
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems

• Collaborating with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy
• Ensuring the Engagement team fully understands client needs, ambitions, and expectations

Pay

The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $90,800 to $149,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,000 to $170,200. Individual salaries are determined based on various factors including education, experience, and location.

Schedule

We offer a flexible vacation policy, allowing you to decide how much time you need based on your personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed.
