Financial Accountant, Corporate Accounting
About the role
The candidate for Financial Accountant will be a key member of the Corporate finance team reporting to the Manager, Finance & Accounting. This role is responsible for supporting the accounting, reporting, and compliance activities related to employee benefit programs, equity compensation, and other corporate accounting matters.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes by ensuring accounting records are complete, accurate, and compliant with U.S. GAAP and Company policies
- Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to corporate accounting activities, including employee benefit programs, retirement plans, and global business insurance
- Process and maintain the accounting of employee health and life benefit programs, including invoice tracking, cost allocations, and monthly charges to operating companies
- Support the accounting and reporting of equity compensation programs, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), performance stock units (PSUs), share repurchases, and share-related reconciliations
- Prepare supporting schedules and disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory and shareholder-related filings, including the Form 11-K and annual proxy statement
- Prepare monthly forecast-to-actual analyses for management reporting packages
- Support the accounting associated with companywide tax planning initiatives
- Aid in finance projects aimed at improving efficiency, strengthening controls, and implementing new technologies
- Support business audits conducted by external and internal auditors by preparing supporting documentation and responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and contribute to the maintenance of a strong SOX-compliant control environment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other relevant certification preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- A working knowledge of US GAAP is expected
- Understanding of equity compensation / benefits accounting preferred
Qualifications
- Large international manufacturing industry experience
- Oracle (ERP) and OneStream tools experience
- Experience leveraging technology and AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to improve workflows, automate routine tasks, and enhance analytical capabilities
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
Schedule
The position is preferred to be based at Veralto’s corporate headquarters, Waltham, MA, and will be hybrid with a flexible work environment. Travel may be required and estimated up to 5% annually.
