About the role
This role is within Grant Thornton's Business Consulting Practice and involves helping clients transform their finance and operations functions through process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Utilize previous consulting and industry experience to help companies set and achieve their long-term goals
- Perform accurate analysis and designing effective solutions to a variety of client issues
- Work directly with clients to address their issues and act as the day-to-day relationship contact
- Collaborate with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
- Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution
- Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2+ years of work-related experience in financial management and/or consulting or experience
- Experience working in financial services in a consulting capacity, with a focus on finance
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases
- Knowledge of Close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Benchmarking
- Working knowledge of banking operations and related regulatory issues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
- Can travel as needed
Pay
The base salary range for this position is between $110,400 and $140,760. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
Schedule
This role requires in-person attendance at least three days per week, either at a GT office or client site.
