Finance Transformation Senior Associate

About the role

As a Business Consulting Senior Associate, you’ll be responsible for business process analysis, requirements definition efforts for remediating gaps, cost and cycle time analysis/remediation, and the communication and change management required to ensure the success of our clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.

Responsibilities

• Utilize previous consulting and industry experience to help companies set and achieve their long-term goals
• Perform accurate analysis and designing effective solutions to a variety of client issues
• Work directly with clients to address their issues and act as the day-to-day relationship contact
• Work closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
• Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution
• Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2+ years of work-related experience in financial management and/or consulting or experience
• Experience working in financial services in a consulting capacity, with a focus on finance
• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases
• Process analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Reconciliation
• Working knowledge of Close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Benchmarking
• Knowledge of banking operations and related regulatory issues
• Able to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
• Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 30%

Pay

The base salary range for this position is between $110,400 and $140,760. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
