About the role
As a Finance Modernization Experienced Associate, you’ll be responsible for business process analysis, requirements definition efforts for remediating gaps, cost and cycle time analysis/remediation, and the communication and change management required to ensure the success of our clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.
Responsibilities
- Utilize previous consulting and industry experience to help companies set and achieve their long-term goals
- Perform accurate analysis and designing effective solutions to a variety of client issues
- Work directly with clients to address their issues and act as the day-to-day relationship contact
- Work closely with Grant Thornton teams to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues
- Develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships to provide maximum value to our clients through the delivery of our full solution
- Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls
- Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 1 year of work-related experience in financial management and/or consulting or experience
- Experience working in financial services in a consulting capacity, with a focus on finance
- Process analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Reconciliation
- Working knowledge of Close-the-books, Chart-of-Accounts, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis & Financial Benchmarking
- Knowledge of banking operations and related regulatory issues
- Able to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
- Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 30%
