Finance & Strategy Analyst

For our client, we are seeking a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will sit at the intersection of finance, strategy, and business partnership, with a strong focus on forecasting, variance analysis, and decision support. The analyst will support key product areas and help translate complex financial data into actionable insights for cross-functional leaders. Success in this role will require strong analytical rigor, comfort working independently, and the ability to influence outcomes through clear financial storytelling. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $130,900 – $154,000 annually Responsibilities Own revenue forecasting and variance analysis for key consumer trading activities Manage financial deliverables for product lines within the business Build and maintain driver-based financial models for revenue and expenses Proactively investigate financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities Lead month-end close processes and conduct variance analysis Present financial analysis during business reviews to cross-functional stakeholders Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a related analytical role Proficient in advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis Experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, or Adaptive Insights Ability to collaborate with non-finance teams to validate assumptions and present analyses Demonstrated skill in identifying financial trends and risks independently Accuracy in financial close processes and variance analysis Familiarity with generative AI for enhancing workflow efficiency Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Equity and bonus eligibility Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
