Finance Staff Auditor (TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required)

About the role

This position performs financial, operational, and/or information technology audits in assigned areas and functions. You will recommend revisions and/or expansion to audit programs to ensure adequate analysis of assigned areas, develop and maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures, and stay current with audit developments and business areas affecting the company.

You will interface with groups inside and outside the organization, including project management, finance personnel, and auditors. Responsibilities include completing sections of routine audit areas, performing work within complex audit areas as directed, following prescribed audit programs, analyzing available data, and identifying existing or potential problem areas.

Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Interface with project management, finance personnel, auditors, and other internal/external groups.
• Complete sections of routine audit areas and perform work within complex audit areas as directed.
• Analyze available data and identify existing or potential problem areas.
• Follow prescribed audit programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Accredited four-year bachelor’s and/or advanced degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study (no required years of work-related experience) or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to two years if non-degreed. Some locations may have additional or different qualifications.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance (required).
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in accounting, business, finance, computer science, or information management.
• Two years of related audit/internal audit/finance/information systems experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic leadership and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated high proficiency in personal computer-based business applications.
• Ability to function in a highly professional and confidential manner, maintaining independence and objectivity from audited areas, in compliance with internal auditing standards and ethics.
• High degree of discretion and evaluation capabilities.
• Local candidates preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $53,500.00 – $99,500.00. The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; final salary is determined by candidate qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions.
