Finance part-time Staff

Starting salary: $20.18 per hour.

About This Position

This is a part-time role within the Finance Department, performing financial duties related to Accounts Payable, data entry, data discovery and maintenance, reconciliation, journal entries, and other tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a maximum of 30 hours worked per week.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into city software
• Review data entries, check the accuracy of data, and troubleshoot data issues
• Prepare, create, and maintain data for entry for multiple areas of Finance as directed
• Analyze data, self-check, review data entries, and reconcile to supporting documentation
• Assist with research and creating and printing reports as directed
• Assist with testing and implementing software

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or a related field
• 12 to 18 months of relevant experience and/or training
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier
• Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
• Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
