Finance Operations Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in bank and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
• Perform data analysis to support financial decision-making
• Support the monthly close process, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Document and improve finance operational processes
• Collaborate with finance and other departments on financial projects
• Support the accounting team with special projects and research tasks

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with financial reporting or data analysis
• Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
