Finance Officer

About the role

Provide accurate and timely payroll services and support key finance functions within a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preventing sexual violence and promoting safety in Tasmania.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processing efficiently
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Contribute to month-end accruals and financial reporting
• Support funding acquittals

Requirements

• Qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll administration
• At least two years of experience in accounting or payroll roles
• Proficiency or quick learning ability with software such as Xero and ELMOS
• Strong attention to detail and systematic follow-up
• Good priority management skills
• Current Working with Vulnerable People Card and willingness to obtain a National Police Check
