While the role offers significant autonomy, you'll be supported by experienced finance leaders and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead key automation projects, collaborating across Finance and Technology teams to achieve high-impact results and enhance operational efficiency
  • Form strategic plans to improve processes, tools, and analytics, including ownership of project ideation, pilot implementation, stakeholder management, and expansion
  • Drive automation and scale of financial reporting by simplifying processes for internal stakeholders, insisting on the highest standards for data accuracy and process efficiency
  • Identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and create/implement escalation plans to close gaps
  • Evaluate risks and their impact, proposing and implementing improvements
  • Make thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure
  • Use AI tools to draft and refine financial narratives, business cases, and strategic documents that align with Amazon's writing principles
