Finance Manager, Robotics

Amazon Robotics owns Amazon's worldwide packaging strategy, designing and driving adoption of packaging materials and technologies that lower costs, unlock additional selection, and improve customer experience. This role partners with the business to develop Amazon's strategy for packaging materials and drive improvements across manual packaging processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and maintain financial forecast and analysis of Shipping Supplies for US and CA.
• Partner with senior leaders in the Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation team, and the Global Procurement team to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Drive core financial processes for the business including Annual Operating Plans, 3-year Strategic Plan, Long Range Plan, and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Complete cost/benefit analyses and communicate key drivers/inputs to support business decisions.
• Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
• Maintain controllership of Ship Supplies by driving month-end reviews of compliance processes and creating month-end accruals.
• Lead strategic projects.
• Evaluate capital investment in new materials or packaging systems to measure return on investment.
• Partner with materials scientists and process engineering teams to design and build Amazon’s next generation of packaging materials and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• 5+ years of experience dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving.

Qualifications

• MBA.
• 6+ years of experience solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits).
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.

USA, MA, N.Reading - $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
