This is a Day 1 opportunity to help shape financial strategy and work on challenging problems at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and finance while gaining exposure to senior leadership and high-visibility projects. Amazon Health is transforming how people access and experience healthcare. As part of this mission, Amazon One Medical (AOM) is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Strategic Growth and Network Development (SGN) finance team during an exciting period of expansion and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Independently own finance partnership for the One Medical Sales team
- Design and implement mechanisms and deep dives into the sales pipeline to identify improvements and hold a high bar for the sales team
- Strategic planning and analysis of health care partnerships and new product development
- FP&A for One Medical for Business: Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to business leaders, e.g., WBRs, MBRs, and QBRs
- Architecting new processes for FP&A using "AI native" workflows
- Quarterly guidance cycles, OP1/OP2, and long-range forecasting
- Internal head-count reporting and hiring best-practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 4+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, or MBA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
- Experience working with other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
