About the role
Make On Demand (MOD)/Merch team seeks a Finance leader to partner with the Operations, Supply Chain, Retail, and Strategy Teams, and to drive an agenda of optimization, efficiency, and insights across MOD/Merch. This is a unique opportunity to be a leader of leaders to oversee a vast network of fulfillment centers, coordinate initiatives that span across multiple organizations and stakeholders with high visibility to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations, Supply Chain, Retail, and Strategy Teams to drive an agenda of optimization, efficiency, and insights across MOD/Merch.
- Coordinate initiatives that span across multiple organizations and stakeholders with high visibility to senior leadership.
- Design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.
- Lead through ambiguity, identify high priority work/projects to maximize results for key stakeholders, and solve complex problems affecting company-wide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with a broad range of Senior Leaders in Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to design, develop, and maintain performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers.
- Create process improvements with automation and analysis to enhance financial and operational reporting.
- Dissect financial data and identify patterns that support business strategy and drive financial performance and strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience.
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
Skills
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos).
- Experience working with financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
