Finance Manager, North America Operations FP&A Central Reporting
Key job responsibilities
Driving the integrity and accuracy of the NA outbound KPI’s and financial reporting
Exercising clear communication and strong partnership skills to tell a concise and consistent story, but with the appropriate amount of detail
Ensuring a high degree of controllership and compliance by monitoring forecast accuracy, understanding drivers of variances, and providing insightful commentary
Using strong business acumen and financial knowledge to build financial models that draw conclusions, make recommendations, inform decision making, and deliver results
Setting up mechanisms, streamlining processes, and looking for ways to invent and simplify
Navigating through ambiguous situations, exercising good judgment, and operating in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines
Performing adhoc analysis and embracing change
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
