About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the FP&A space for Initiatives investments within the North America Operations (NA Ops) Capex, Analytics & Planning (CAP) Finance Team. This role supports several business and finance leaders, driving planning review mechanisms and building bottoms-up rolling 3-year financial models.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the planning cycles for a multi-billion dollar business.

  • Deep-diving variances vs. plan to understand changes and uncover opportunities for efficiency improvement.

  • Leading cross-functional projects involving finance, engineering and tech teams.

  • Form strategic plans to improve processes, tools, and analytics.

  • Leverage Operations metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials.

  • Identifies risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate gaps.

  • Drive automation and process improvement across planning, top-down forecasting and goal management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA

  • 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

  • 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL
