Finance Manager, Medicare & Value-Based Care, Amazon One Medical
About the role
The Finance Manager for Senior Health Value Based Care is a critical role within One Medical. Finance plays a pivotal part in achieving our mission, ensuring the right investments, maintaining control, and delivering clear insights to propel our business forward.
Responsibilities
Ownership of monthly Medicare deep dives into variance drivers and reporting, including data manipulation and analysis.
Partner with the business and finance leaders to develop long-term strategies and new initiatives.
Implement data-driven reporting and driver-based forecasting solutions using internal systems and AI tools.
Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review metrics updates for the senior health value based care business.
Reconcile eligibility records and payments.
Manage FP&A workstreams and mechanisms.
Analyze ROI on current and new Medicare programs for long-term growth.
Perform deep dive modeling for key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field.
3+ years experience in Medicaid or Medicare or Government Sponsored Healthcare or Payer Based Healthcare.
5 years of finance experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
6+ years of solving complex business challenges through accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations.
MBA or CPA.
Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos).
Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
