You will leverage data analytics, AI proficiency, and financial acumen to drive standardization and automation across finance processes, reducing manual work by 40-50%. This role offers a unique opportunity to transform traditional financial reporting through AI-enabled automation while providing strategic insights that optimize supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

Analyze operational data to provide financial insights that optimize costs and drive business performance, applying your understanding of Amazon's financial processes and internal controls to existing products and tools.
Develop and utilize AI-powered dashboards for anomaly detection and trend analysis, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
Partner with operations teams to validate business case assumptions, track performance metrics, and contribute to automated reporting systems that reduce manual work by 40-50%.
Conduct risk assessments and implement improvements to remediate gaps, ensuring reporting accuracy by diving deep into data discrepancies and executing fixes.
Collaborate across finance, operations, supply chain, and technology teams to develop standardized investment evaluation processes and financial playbooks that scale independently of building count.

Qualifications

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
