About the role
Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Manager, FP&A to support Amazon's Global Logistics Network. The role will directly impact the development, planning, and execution of the company's Inbound supply chain network.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitability and customer experience by influencing decisions and driving financial outcomes for the Inbound supply chain network.
- Work closely with the Inbound Reporting/Planning and Execution team as their strategic finance business partner.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and secure financial entitlements through practical, data-driven approaches.
- Gain insights into areas for optimization and process improvements through regular meetings and data analysis.
- Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations that influence decision-making and drive profitability.
Requirements
- Advanced ability to analyze data and build strategy.
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with finance partners.
- Expertise in managing, evaluating, and analyzing large data sets quickly.
- Ability to communicate complex finance issues clearly and concisely.
- Experience with financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL and other financial systems.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
Skills
- Advanced ability to deep dive data to build strategy and analytical models.
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your execution finance partners.
- Expertise in managing, evaluating, and analyzing large data quickly to create meaningful business reporting.
- Ability to self-start and create direction in a rapidly changing and often ambiguous environment.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
- USA, TX, Irving - 95,400.00 - 163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington - 95,400.00 - 163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Bellevue - 95,400.00 - 163,200.00 USD annually
