Finance Manager, DTO & WW Flex

About the role

The Finance Manager will partner with business leadership to provide strategic guidance and analytical decision making support for evaluating and prioritizing projects or initiatives. This role will work closely with cross-functional business leaders across the Last Mile organization and internal Amazon businesses.

Responsibilities

• Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
• Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs and provides guidance and financial analysis for new projects and initiatives. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
• Identifies opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improves, scales, or simplifies finance tools across teams and organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
