Finance Manager / Desk Manager

About the role

Lovering Auto Group is seeking a motivated automotive professional to join the team as a Finance Manager / Desk Manager who will float between the three locations in Nashua, Concord, and Meredith. This role offers the opportunity to work across all three dealerships, learn from different management teams, build relationships organization‑wide, and gain exposure to varied customer bases and sales environments while positioning yourself for future leadership opportunities within the group.

Responsibilities

• Structure and desk automotive deals
• Work with sales consultants and managers to maximize opportunities
• Manage finance and insurance presentations
• Work with lenders and financial institutions
• Protect gross and dealership profitability
• Review and structure trades
• Coach salespeople on deal structure and process
• Help managers identify opportunities within their pipeline
• Support sales managers with TOs and closing opportunities
• Maintain strong compliance and documentation
• Help create consistency across the three locations
• Build relationships with customers and employees throughout the organization

Requirements

• Experience as a Finance Manager, Desk Manager, or Sales Manager with finance experience
• Strong understanding of deal structure and profitability
• Solid F&I knowledge and established lender relationships
• Ability to read a deal and identify opportunities
• Skill in coaching and developing salespeople
• Effective communication with customers and employees
• Comfortable working in multiple dealership environments
• Organized, process‑driven, and adaptable to different teams and situations
• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things the right way

Pay

$125,000 – $175,000 (including partial salary)
