Finance Manager – Corporate Finance

Job Summary

The Finance Manager – Corporate Finance will provide leadership team and parent company with monthly financial and metric results with variance explanations. They will consolidate team forecasts and coordinate submissions to align with the parent company's finance calendar. They will manage the financials of Ziply Fiber's subsidiaries and its joint venture with Network FiberCo. They will support financial modeling for long-range planning and forecasting purposes. They will serve as the finance generalist for the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership team and parent company with monthly financial and metric results with variance explanations.
• Consolidate team forecasts and coordinate submissions to align with the parent company's finance calendar.
• Manage the financials of Ziply Fiber's subsidiaries and its joint venture with Network FiberCo.
• Serve as the finance generalist for the team.
• Partner with Accounting team in developing relevant and timely financial reporting for business leaders.
• Cultivate and sustain effective working relationships across the company.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive annual planning process including five-year plan, operating budget, capital budget, and company strategy.
• Absess ROI for capital expenditures and other business investments.
• Judge and Information Stewardship Manage sensitive information and exercise excellent judgement and discretion.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Experience with data analytic tools.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Collaborative and service focused, comfortable working with employees at all levels.
• Flexible and adaptive in a rapidly changing environment.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently while achieving desired performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA Designation is an asset.
• Experience in a business with monthly recurring revenue.
• Experience in a construction business.
• Experience with Salesforce/Sitetracker.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations. Advanced financial modelling Advanced skill set with Microsoft excel, familiarity with Anaplan and SQL based software is also a plus Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work within critical deadlines. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
