Finance Manager, Amazon Leo Finance
We are seeking a Finance Manager to serve as a strategic finance partner to Production Operations, playing a critical role in shaping LEO's financial landscape. This position drives processes essential to Amazon's financial planning capabilities, partnering broadly across the Finance organization to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable insights that guide executive decision-making.
About the role
This role owns the strategy, governance, and oversight of LEO Infrastructure's end-to-end decision systems that underpin our financial reporting. You will partner with key business stakeholders to validate system inputs, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose strategies that elevate decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.
The team needs a self-starter who can work efficiently and autonomously while managing complex multi-stakeholder coordination across highly ambiguous environments characterized by dynamic schedule changes, unpredictable demand forecasts, shifting political landscapes, and evolving international trade regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial bridges, narratives, and strategic documents for executive leadership, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes
- Collaborate proactively with business finance teams using a customer-obsessed approach to ensure data accuracy and alignment of financial reporting
- Create guidance and workback plans to support key financial review meetings and processes
- Support process governance and improvement by implementing solutions using AI tools and automation technologies to enhance financial analysis and insights
- Utilize advanced financial systems to conduct deep-dive analyses and generate executive-level summaries
- Provide Monthly Financial Review content and participate in MBR discussions with senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation throughout financial planning cycles
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- 5+ years of experience dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum (due to applicable export control laws and regulations)
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Pay
Base salary range: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually (Bellevue, WA)
