Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventories and work with others outside the accounting group to conduct them
• Partner with Operations, taking instructions, executing tasks, and effectively communicating results
• Work with accounting and non-accounting personnel
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency, focus, and curiosity
• Apply understanding of Contractor Time & Material Billings and markups
• Maintain safety awareness and ability to work safely and adapt to environment when around machinery

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at Mississippi State University, The University of Mississippi, Auburn University, University of Alabama, University of Maine, University of North Carolina State, Texas A&M University, University of Miami Ohio, Tennessee Technology University, or any University of TN
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Completed freshman year
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with differences between mainframe applications and PC-based systems
• Undergraduate coursework in Accounting, Process MFG Cost Accounting, Cost Analysis, Internal Controls, and Forecasting

Pay

Starting salary range: $24.00 per hour.
