Finance Intern - FP&A & Business Analytics
About the role
The Finance Intern will support the Finance team with financial analysis, business intelligence, cash flow optimization, and FP&A initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience working with sales, finance, and operations leaders to develop actionable insights that drive business performance and improve working capital management.
Responsibilities
- Exposure to global business operations and key account management.
- Hands-on experience with FP&A, business analytics, and working capital improvement initiatives.
- Experience building executive-level dashboards and performance reporting tools.
- Opportunity to work directly with finance and commercial leadership on high-impact business projects.
- Develop financial and operational insights for Global Key Accounts by analyzing sales, order intake, margins, business plans, and forecasts.
- Create dashboards, reports, and performance analyses that help Sales Managers identify growth opportunities, monitor account profitability, and address underperforming accounts with targeted action plans.
- Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for cash collections and support the development of a Power BI reporting model to track collection performance of an outsourced BPO provider.
- Analyze collection trends and provide recommendations to improve cash conversion and collection efficiency.
- Aid in designing and documenting process flows for a new customer credit card payment process to improve transaction speed, reporting visibility, and cash application accuracy.

- Support FP&A projects and strategic finance initiatives, including supply chain finance, forecasting, profitability analysis, and other ad hoc business projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Power Query, or data visualization tools is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced business environment.
Required Abilities
- Ability to work onsite in Burnsville, MN; this is a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being onsite a minimum of three (3) days/week, sometimes more dependent on business need.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods while working at a computer, with regular opportunities to move or change position.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a typical office environment with standard noise levels and ergonomic equipment.
Additional Information
The U.S. based hourly rate for this full-time position is $25.00-35.00 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's (US) Health and Welfare Benefit Plans-including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance-as well as the company's 401(k) plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective plan documents.
