Finance Director/VP/SVP (Advertising Agency - MUST have AI experience)

About the role

A creative advertising network with headquarters in NYC is seeking a Head of Finance (FD/VP/SVP level) to lead its New York Agency. This role is designed for someone who will use AI to modernize finance operations as the industry evolves. The position requires in-office presence 4 days a week and reports to the North American CFO.

Responsibilities

• Manage the agency P&L
• Oversee commercial finance relationships and activities
• Collaborate closely with the controllership team on all transactional finance and accounting items
• Utilize AI to transform the department and traditional operations

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience
• Advertising industry experience highly preferred
• Experience with AI and "Agent-ifying problems" is mandatory
• Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will either have a traditional advertising, media, or PR agency finance background with a track record of AI-driven transformation, or come from a different services industry (e.g., consulting, legal) with extensive AI and transformation experience.

Role is based in NYC with in-office requirements 4 days per week.
