Finance Director, Revenue

About the Role
You will own the financial performance of our revenue and cost of sale portfolio—shaping how we price, forecast, and drive profitable growth across the business. You will operate as a true P&L leader, partnering directly with senior executives across Sales, Operations, and Finance to influence decisions that materially impact company performance. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, driven leader who wants to move beyond reporting and actively shape strategy, build a team, and leave a visible mark on the business.
Responsibilities
- P&L Ownership, Forecasting & Planning - Own financial performance across all revenue and cost of sale lines, including forecasting, planning, and delivery against targets
- Lead the monthly forecast, annual planning, and long-range planning processes
- Build and evolve driver-based models linking volume, pricing, mix, and cost structure
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve pricing, mix, and overall revenue quality
- Establish scalable FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and performance management disciplines
- Commercial Strategy & Pricing - Influence serve as the financial leader on all major commercial decisions—pricing, contracts, and partnerships
- Ensure deals are structured to maximize profitability and align with enterprise goals
- Influence pricing strategy, discounting frameworks, and investment decisions
- Advanced Analytics & Profitability Insights - Leverage transaction-level data to uncover margin opportunities and inefficiencies
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of tools and analytics that elevate decision-making across the organization
- Build & Lead a High-Performance Team - Lead a team with immediate direct reports and scale the organization over time
- Hire, develop, and retain top talent—building a team known for analytical rigor and business impact
- Create a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Executive Partnership & Influence - Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Operations, and Finance
- Bring clarity to ambiguity—helping leaders make faster, better decisions with data
- Communicate with precision and confidence in high-stakes settings
Requirements
- Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a related field; we value impact, ownership, and trajectory over years of experience
- Experience influencing business performance through financial insights, with strong understanding of revenue and cost drivers
- Highly analytical with exceptional modeling skills and the ability to connect data to strategy
- A builder—comfortable creating structure, processes, and teams from the ground up
- A clear, confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders

Pay
The annual starting salary for this position is between $160,000 – $200,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
