About the role

General Financial Control is responsible for directing the organization's accounting functions and areas of focus include: Accounts payable, cost accounting, and financial reporting. A Management 3 manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining planning and budgeting systems
• Preparation of financial and management reports and procedures
• Presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management
• Analyzing and interpreting trends requiring management's attention
• Training and managing other accounting staff
• Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less)
• Addressing problems that are difficult to moderately complex
• Influencing others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures

Requirements

• CPA required
• Travel to San Jose, CA to secondary office required 25%
