Finance Director

About the role

The City of Troy, Missouri seeks a Finance Director. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience, ranging from $89,544 to $111,841. The City offers an excellent fringe benefit package.

Responsibilities

- Manage the city’s budget of approximately $21 million. - Oversee the General Operating fund and two utility funds (sanitary sewer and water). - Supervise a Finance Department staff of three, including the Director.

Requirements

- A degree in accounting, public/business administration, or a related field. - At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in municipal accounting or finance. - At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

Skills

- Strong financial management skills. - Excellent leadership abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software.
