Finance - Corporate Internship - Summer 2027

About the role

Nordstrom is seeking summer interns who are exceptionally motivated and possess high levels of curiosity to join our finance organization. As a Nordstrom Finance Intern, you’ll play a dual role — dedicated student and valued team member. Successful Finance Interns will also have the opportunity to join Nordstrom full-time upon completion of their degree.

Responsibilities

• Get an up-close, behind-the-scenes view of the retail fashion industry that you won’t find in a classroom
• Develop and deliver a strategic project with milestones, deliverables and deadlines that you’ll present directly to company leadership at the end of the summer
• Jump in on real projects from day one, contributing to the daily work that keeps the team moving and learning how the business runs from the inside
• Build variance analysis and insight reporting that support the financial cycle
• Use data and analytics to uncover insights that inform business decisions
• Analyze and improve finance processes to come up with solutions for real business challenges
• Explore how AI, data and automation can help transform the way we work
• Collaborate with and learn from experienced members of the finance team

Requirements

• Are a college student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with a focus in Finance (preferred), Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Administration
• Have an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027 or Spring 2028
• Have strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and AI
• Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel to create reports, run queries, and create pivot tables
• Build great relationships through stellar communication and follow-through
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment thanks to your ace organizational skills and ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
• Able to relocate to Seattle for the duration of the 10-week summer internship
• Excited about a career at Nordstrom if offered a position at the end of your internship (based on performance)

Pay

The hourly rate is $33.00, with a pay range of $29.00 – $46.25 per hour.

Schedule

The 2027 summer internship program is 10 weeks long from June 14th – August 13th in Seattle, WA. Interviews will take place in January 2027, with hiring decisions anticipated in February 2027.
