Finance Business Partner (FP&A)

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Business Partner (FP&A) to support commercial performance within the consumer products industry. This role plays a critical role in partnering with Sales & Marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify revenue opportunities.

About the role

This is a full-time position requiring on-site work 2 days per week in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for FMC P&Ls, CAPEX, and Net Working Capital.
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Insights, People & Culture, and R&D to support data-driven decisions.
• Analyze volume, pricing, mix, COGS, and A&P spend; explain variances and recommend actions.
• Develop standardized reporting packages and KPIs to improve visibility and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and improved data visualization (Power BI, Power Query).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a related role.
• Prior experience in a Manufacturing or Consumer Products Environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay

$150,000 - $170,000 base salary.
