Finance Attorney (Associate)
Robinson+Cole, a Vault "Top Ranked" Am Law 200 firm, seeks a corporate finance associate to join its Business Transactions Practice Group in its Hartford, Stamford, Boston, or New York offices.
About the role
Robinson+Cole’s Finance Group represents clients nationwide with a variety of highly-sophisticated financing transactions. We work with banks, private credit funds (including Small Business Investment Companies), venture funds and other lenders on first lien, second lien, and unsecured financing transactions, as well as with private equity funds and other financial sponsors and their portfolio companies and other borrowers on complex commercial, asset-based, and acquisition financings.
Responsibilities
- Represent borrowers and lenders in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex debt financing transactions
Requirements
- Three to six years of corporate finance experience
- Experience with acquisition finance and venture lending (preferred but not required)
- Admission in the state of the primary office location
- Top academic and transactional credentials
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay
New York and Massachusetts applicants: The target base salary range for this position is $195,000 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
Schedule
Hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 2-3 days per week in the office to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
