Finance Associate Attorney
About the role
The Banking and Financial Services division in the Denver office is looking to hire an associate attorney with 3-5 years of general debt finance experience, including drafting credit agreements, security documents and other loan documents and closing loan transactions.
Responsibilities
- Drafting credit agreements, security documents and other loan documents
- Closing loan transactions
- Representing commercial banks, Farm Credit System institutions, community banks, non-bank lenders, private equity sponsors, family offices and other non-traditional lenders, as well as public and private companies, in all aspects of financing transactions
Requirements
- High level of academic achievement
- Law firm experience is preferred
- Active license in Colorado or the ability to waive in to practice
Qualifications
- Experience in general debt finance
- Ability to draft credit agreements, security documents and other loan documents
- Experience closing loan transactions
- Knowledge of financing transactions involving commercial banks, Farm Credit System institutions, community banks, non-bank lenders, private equity sponsors, family offices and other non-traditional lenders, as well as public and private companies
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $215,000 – $245,000. The salary range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
