Finance Associate

Job Summary

The Finance Associate supports the OpCo operations and collaborates with SBS to resolve exceptions and issues. This role performs transactional and administrative duties.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Support the Region finance team in the monthly close process
• Collaborate with FP accounting in the monthly process to ensure a timely and accurate close
• Develop and deploy tools and processes across the organization based on business needs
• Provide support cross-functionally with all departments on both local and corporate initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Technical Skills

• Required: Bachelor's degree preferred
• Communication and leadership skills
• Root-cause analysis skills for solving customer disputes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting/finance software (e.g., ERP Systems, Workday, workflow systems)
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally within Sysco and with GPOs

• Sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear
• Frequently sit and reach with hands and arms
