Finance Analyst

We’re seeking a detail oriented Financial Analyst who can partner closely with field, operations and accounting teams to help improve performance and bring transparency to financial data. What you’ll do: Collaborate with field, operations and accounting teams to analyze financial performance and drive improvementMonitor key operational metrics related to planting, growing, and harvesting onionPrepare and present performance indicators and spending summaries to leadershipParticipate in budget development, forecasting, data collection and regular financial reportingSupport capital project reviews by coordinating requests and analysis with corporate teamsAssist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and raw material cost reviewsContribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ad-hoc projects What you’ll bring: Preferably 3 + years of cost accounting experience in field, grower accounting, or similar agricultural operations. Ideally with an understanding of seed, planting, growing and harvest analyticsPreferably 3+ years of financial data analysis and reportingAdvanced MS Excel and experience with Business Intelligence, Cognos, or similar business analytics platforms required. About Sensient Agricultural Ingredients: Sensient Agricultural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Agricultural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
