Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis, with variance commentary comparing actuals to budget and prior periods
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering inputs from department heads, consolidating financial plans, and maintaining rolling forecasts
- Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, strategic planning, and investor or board-level reporting
- Partner with the Accounting team on month-end close activities, ensuring alignment between operational results and GAAP financial statements
- Auxiliary in the preparation of Board of Directors and executive-level presentations, translating financial data into clear narratives and actionable insights
- Track, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, ensuring leadership has timely and accurate visibility into business performance
- Serve as a finance business partner to cross-functional teams, providing financial context, answering budget-related questions, and supporting data-driven decision making
- Aid in the review and management of vendor contracts, tracking key terms, renewal dates, and payment obligations to support cost management and vendor accountability
- Assist in the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis and decision support in response to requests from department heads and senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes, reporting workflows, and data infrastructure as the company scales
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Pioneered ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal oversight
- Process-oriented mindset with a drive to identify inefficiencies and implement automation and scalable solutions
- Exceptional attention to detail balanced with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy
- Versatile self-starter who is comfortable wearing many hats — equally at ease supporting a month-end close as contributing to a board-level financial presentation
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting or Investment Banking

Pay
$115 – $130k USD
