Finance & Accounting Intern
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to support the finance and accounting team with reporting, analysis, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a career in accounting or finance who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid with account reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Support collection of W-9’s for customers/vendors
- Gather and organize EBITDA addback support and related documentation.
- Aid with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense tracking processes.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Support audit requests and internal reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate financial information.
- Aid with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, formatting, and data organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
Future Full-Time Opportunity
Upon successful completion of the internship and graduation, candidates may be considered for a full-time opportunity within the finance organization. Depending on performance, interests, and business needs, future opportunities may include roles in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
