Final Quality Control Inspector I - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs in-process and final inspection of all product lines and areas for conformance to specifications (inspection procedures and engineering drawings).
• Conducts visual inspection and sing components/assemblies in production.
• Verifies calibration status of critical equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintains and records quality sing information as part of a DHR (Device History Record).
• Initiates DMR’s (Discrepancy Material Report) for nonconforming material.
• Understands and ensures compliance to procedures.
• Populates required inspection metric information.
• Prepares retain samples for storage.
• Completes all tasks within established guidelines.
• Understands and applies principles of GMP.
• Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Works in a team environment, multi-tasks, and communicates effectively.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 - 2 years’ experience in related position, or a sufficient combination of the two.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the English language (speak, read and write).
• Proficient in the use of basic Dimensional Measuring Tools.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Ability to read specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings, basic blueprint reading.
• Strong attention to detail.

Skills

• Knowledge of GMP principles.
• Basic knowledge of dimensional measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Attention to detail.

Pay

The hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 to $22.00. Factors that may affect this rate include shift, geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule
