About the role

The Final Inspection Associate performs quality and quantity pre-shipment inspection(s) on various order configurations of finished products. This position maintains an efficient flow of product from Final Inspection to Packaging while ensuring that finished products meet Ki Mobility’s final inspection and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all final order inspection procedure steps to confirm order conformity while ensuring timely processing.
  • Maintain a consistent and efficient flow of product from Final Inspection to Packaging.
  • Complete documentation checklist(s) needed to support final inspection of each product.
  • Communicate order non-conformance findings to Production.
  • Participate in continuous improvement training for final inspection and quality standards.
  • Follow all procedures in compliance with Ki Mobility processes and international policies.
  • Notify and collaborate with leader(s) on problems that arise and suggestions for improvement.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Final Inspection area.
  • Ensure and follow safety requirements and standards.
  • Perform all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Company’s values.
  • Report to work as scheduled, on time, and able to work entire work schedule.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Highly developed attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Ability to interact and motivate co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Desire to make decisions and take responsibility for actions.
  • Basic level skills using computer applications (Word, Excel, enterprise software).

  • Ability to observe and identify details.
  • Ability to work extended hours as scheduled, including weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an inspection related field focusing on detailed work and product or process specifications.
  • Basic level experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) and other enterprise software.
  • Preferred: 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Ki Mobility products and supporting documents, including but not limited to work tickets and order details.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting in wheelchairs, wrist manipulation, walking, and standing.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
  • Occasionally perform medium work with lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to type and operate office equipment frequently.
  • Manual dexterity to position product and to use basic tools for measuring.
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements to perform essential functions.

Working Environment

Standard working conditions include a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
