Filtration Operator
About the Role
As a Filtration Operator, you'll safely operate and monitor advanced membrane filtration systems while ensuring every product meets our high standards for quality, food safety, and efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in food, dairy, beverage, or ingredient manufacturing who enjoy monitoring production processes, solving problems, and producing high-quality products every day.
Responsibilities
- Operate specialized filtration systems used to process dairy ingredients.
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates, and product concentrations throughout the production process.
- Make routine process adjustments to maintain product quality and maximize production efficiency.
- Complete production records, quality checks, and batch documentation accurately.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they impact production.
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment using established cleaning procedures (CIP).
- Follow all food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Previous experience working in food, dairy, beverage, ingredient, or similar process manufacturing.
- Ability to follow written procedures, food safety requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating filtration, evaporation, separation, or other liquid processing equipment.
- Experience working in a GMP or SQF-regulated food manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience.
- Technical or vocational education related to manufacturing or industrial operations.
