Filling Pharmacy Technician

Scope of Responsibilities

• Fills medication orders accurately and per directions on prescription label.
• Packages medications neatly and according to directions.
• Assists in inventory control by handling credits and restocking inventory.
• Maintains and cleans work stations and the facility.
• Ensures the proper and accurate filling of each order.
• Maintains quality assurance standards as directed.
• Keeps adequate stock levels.
• Uses knowledge of RX computer system.
• Completes mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
• Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred educational background: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field.
• Preferred experience: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience.
• Required registration: Registered with the State of Vermont, New Hampshire, or Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.

Compensation

$21.00 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
