Filling Pharmacy Technician

Scope of Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision and accurately fills medication orders.
• Ensures product accuracy and neat packaging.
• Affixes drugs to prescription labels according to directions on the prescription.
• Handles credits and restocks inventory as needed.
• Maintains and cleans work stations and facility.
• Fills individual orders accurately and maintains production levels.
• Maintains quality assurance standards.
• Assists in maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Completes mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements

• Available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• AS Degree or higher in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience.
• Vermont employees must be registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
• New Hampshire employees must be registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Ohio employees only must be registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.

Pay and Benefits

$16.00-17.50 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
