Filling Pharmacy Technician

Scope of Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision and accurately fills medication orders.
• Ensures product accuracy and neat packaging.
• Affords assistance in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.

Job Duties

• Counts, seals, and labels prescription cards.
• Pulls drugs and matches NDC to prescription labels.
• Returns inventory to proper place.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining and cleaning work stations and the facility.
• Ensures the proper and accurate filling of each individual order.
• Maintains reasonable production as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all quality assurance measures as instructed.
• Affords assistance in keeping adequate stock levels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RX computer system.
• Completes mandatory and regulatory training programs.

Skills

• Computer literacy.

Pay

$16.00-17.50 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.

Schedule

Nights and weekends as required.

Requirements

• Vermont Employees: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
• New Hampshire Employees: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Ohio Employees Only: Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.
