Filling Pharmacy Technician

Scope of Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision and accurately fills medication orders.
• Ensures product accuracy and neat packaging.
• Affords assistance in inventory control, including handling credits and restocking inventory.
• Assists in maintaining and cleaning work stations and the facility.
• Maintains and accurately fills each individual order.
• Maintains reasonable production as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains all quality assurance standards as provided.
• Affords assistance in maintaining adequate stocking levels.
• Knowledgeable of RX computer system.
• Completes mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements

• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts.

Education Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• PREFERRED: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field.

Experience Requirements

• PREFERRED: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience.

Vermont Employees

• Required: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.

New Hampshire Employees

• Required: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.

Ohio Employees Only

• Required: Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.

Compensation

$16.00-17.50 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
