About the role
The Filler Operator is responsible for operating filling equipment to accurately dispense liquid products into containers in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Remove protective packaging from empty containers or materials
- Inspect materials for damage or contamination
- Ensure clean and continuous supply to the production line
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety and food quality standards
- Tend machine that fills pasteurized products into containers
- Examine containers from all lines for seals, labels, weights, dates, and valves
- Review with the lab for approvals of each product change on each machine
- Observe flow of milk into machine and remove defective containers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing setting preferred
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety procedures
