About the role
As a Filler Operator, you will operate and maintain filling equipment during your assigned shift. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and precise filling of cans to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate filling machinery and related equipment during your assigned shift.
- Set up and adjust filling parameters according to production specifications.
- Monitor the filling process to ensure accurate volumes and proper sealing of cans.
- Conduct quality checks and take corrective actions as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on filling equipment.
- Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Follow cleaning and sanitation protocols for filling equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness of the filling area to meet hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, technicians, and other operators.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Filler Operator or in a related role.
- Understanding of filling equipment operation and adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy equipment.
Schedule
Full-time, 3rd shift position. Sunday night through Thursday night, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
